Pwani University Announces Job Opportunities, Including Driver Positions

Pwani University has announced multiple job opportunities across various departments within the institution.
In a notice dated Friday, May 8, 2026, the university invited qualified and interested candidates to apply for the vacant positions.
“The University hereby invites applications from suitably qualified and interested candidates for the following vacant positions,” read part of the notice.

Among the positions advertised are three Driver II vacancies under the Transport Department.

The deadline for submitting applications is May 19, 2026. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
Pwani University stated that it is an equal opportunity employer and encouraged female candidates and persons living with disabilities to apply. Applicants living with disabilities are required to attach their National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) certificate.
Candidates with foreign qualifications must also submit a Certificate of Recognition from the Commission for University Education (CUE).
The university further noted that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and warned that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
