Registrar of Political Announces 365 Constituency and Call Centre Jobs

The Registrar of Political Parties has announced 365 short-term contract job opportunities for qualified Kenyans to apply.

Established under the Political Parties Act, Cap 7D, the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) operates as an independent State Office within the meaning of Article 260 of the Constitution.

The Office registers and regulates political parties and administers the Political Parties Fund.

To strengthen this mandate, the Registrar of Political Parties is seeking competent, capable and self-motivated individuals to monitor political party activities and promote compliance with relevant laws.

Registrar of Political Parties Monitor Jobs

The recruitment will fill 365 short-term contract positions at the county, constituency and headquarters levels. Applicants must meet the qualifications and experience requirements for each role.

• County Monitor – 55 positions
• Constituency Monitor – 290 positions
• Call Centre Monitor – 20 positions

The Registrar has advertised the positions under ORPP/3/2026, ORPP/4/2026 and ORPP/5/2026, respectively.

Once recruited, the successful candidates will monitor political party activities before, during and after elections.

They will also assess parties’ compliance with the Constitution, the Political Parties Act and the Code of Conduct for Political Parties.

“The successful candidates will monitor the pre-election, election, and post-election activities of political parties, including their compliance with the Constitution, the Political Parties Act, and the Code of Conduct for Political Parties. The positions are tenable at the County, Constituency, and Headquarters levels, respectively,” ORPP stated.

Job Requirements 

Successful candidates must provide clearance from the following institutions:

• Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
• Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
• Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
• Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
• Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
• Authentication and recognition of foreign degrees by the Commission for University Education, where applicable

In addition, the Registrar of Political Parties has encouraged qualified women, youth, marginalised groups and persons with disabilities to apply.

“ORPP is committed to implementing the provisions of the Constitution – Article 232 (1) on fair competition and merit, representation of Kenya’s diverse communities and affording equal employment opportunities to men and women, members of all ethnic groups and persons with disabilities. Therefore, women, youth, the marginalized and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted,” the office stated.

How to Apply 

Interested and qualified candidates should first visit the ORPP website at https://www.orpp.or.ke/careers/ to access the detailed role profile, qualifications, and experience requirements.

After reviewing the requirements, applicants should submit their applications through the ORPP Jobs e-recruitment portal at https://recruitment.orpp.or.ke.

The Office must receive applications not later than September 1, 2026, at 5:00 pm

The Registrar has also cautioned applicants against submitting false information or forged documents during the recruitment process.

“It is a criminal offence to present fake certificates, forged documents, or any false information during the recruitment process,” ORPP added.

Additionally, applicants must reside in the county or constituency where they seek to work.

Finally, the ORPP has clarified that it does not charge a fee at any stage of its selection process, including application, interviews and processing of offer letters.
