Receiver and Manager Appointed as Mawa Dairy Farm Enters Receivership

Mawa Dairy Farm Limited has been placed under receivership following the appointment of Kamal Anantroy Bhatt of Anant Bhatt LLP as the company’s Receiver and Manager.
In a notice dated July 22, Kamal Anantroy Bhatt was appointed by Imperial Bank Limited as the Receiver and Manager of Mawa Dairy Farm Limited on April 20, 2026.
“Notice is hereby given that Kamal Anantroy Bhatt, of Anant Bhatt LLP, was appointed as the Receiver and Manager of MAWA DAIRY FARM LIMITED (IN RECEIVERSHIP) on 20 April 2026 by Imperial Bank Limited (In Liquidation),” read part of the notice.
Imperial Bank Appoints Receiver for Mawa Dairy Farm
According to the notice, the appointment means that the Receiver will take over the management and affairs of the company.

As a result, the Receiver has been granted authority over all the company’s assets and business undertakings, with only the Receiver and his authorised representatives permitted to manage or transact on behalf of the company.
The notice further stated that the powers previously held by the company’s directors in relation to its business and assets have ceased following the appointment.
“The powers of the Directors in terms of dealing with the Company’s business and assets no longer apply,” read part of the notice.
It also warned that any individual who attempts to hold, use, receive, buy, sell, contract or otherwise deal with the company’s assets without the Receiver’s prior written consent will be acting unlawfully and may face legal action.
“Any person who purports to hold, receive, use, or attempts to buy or sell, contract, or otherwise deal with the assets of the Company or with the Company without the prior written consent of the Receiver will be acting in contravention of the law and will be liable to legal action,” read part of the notice.
Creditors Invited to Submit Claims
The notice further invited all creditors of Mawa Dairy Farm Limited to lodge their claims with the Receiver within 30 days from the date of the notice.
In addition, the company’s directors have been directed to provide the Receiver with a Statement of Affairs within 12 days of the notice to facilitate the receivership process.

The notice also clarified that the Receiver is acting on behalf of the company without assuming any personal liability.
