A new opinion poll shows President William Ruto in the lead, while Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has overtaken former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in the latest presidential race rankings.
The poll shows Ruto leading with 24% support in what researchers described as a still-fluid and highly competitive race.
The findings also revealed a significant number of undecided voters, showing that the political landscape could still change before the next General Election.
According to the poll, Ruto tops the list with 24% support ahead of other potential presidential contenders.
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka came second with 19 %, while former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i followed with 14%.
The survey suggests that despite growing criticism from sections of the opposition, Ruto still enjoys an advantage because opposition support remains split among different leaders.

Nairobi Senator and ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna emerged ahead of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in the latest rankings.
Sifuna received 10 % support, while Gachagua followed closely with 9 %.
The results place Sifuna among the top opposition figures being closely watched ahead of the 2027 elections.
Embakasi East MP Babu Owino received 2% support, while 3 % of respondents preferred other candidates.
The poll also showed that 15% of voters are still undecided on who they would support for president.
Researchers say the high number of undecided voters means the race is still open and could change depending on future political alliances and campaigns.
They also noted that no single opposition candidate has managed to unite voters across the country, creating a fragmented opposition field.
