The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has outlined multiple corruption-related cases that are scheduled for judgment, rulings, hearings, and mentions in courts across the country between April 7 and April 10, 2026.
In a report by EACC on April 7, 2026, these cases involve allegations of fraudulent acquisition of public property, unexplained funds, abuse of office, forgery, conflict of interest, and recovery of public funds and land.
At the Kitale Law Court, judgment is to be passed in the case of Robinson Mudenyo and nine others, who are charged with fraudulent acquisition of public property.
This is linked to the alleged embezzlement of Appropriation in Aid (AIA) funds paid by various entities for the private hire of Administration Police officers in Trans Nzoia County.

Cases For Judgement
Judgment is also scheduled in the case of Mark Fredrick Kisika, an NTSA officer charged with receiving a bribe.
In Vihiga Law Court, a ruling is expected in the case of Wilberforce Ndula, a chief officer for finance in Vihiga County.
He is alongside eight others charged with alleged conspiracy to commit corruption and unlawful acquisition of public property.
This involves Ksh 7.6 million paid to Boyse Ventures Limited for services that were not offered.
Milimani Anti-Corruption Court
At the Milimani Anti-Corruption Court, hearings are scheduled in several cases, including the case against Kenneth Kiplagat Tonui, who is charged with fraudulent acquisition of Ksh 9.2 million.
Kenneth is also allegedly involved in forgery and deceiving a principal to secure employment at IEBC.
Also listed for hearing is the case against Stanley Kavulavu Ebacha, who is facing charges of fraudulent acquisition of Ksh 3.7 million.
Stanley’s case also involves forgery of three academic certificates, uttering false documents, and deceiving a principal to secure employment at the Nairobi city water and sewerage company.
The Milimani Anti-Corruption Court will also have a hearing on a recovery suit against Mzalendo Kibunjia and 10 others over alleged embezzlement of Ksh 468.4 million at the National Museums of Kenya.
They allegedly processed salary payments for ghost employees.
Mentions and Hearing
A separate mention is scheduled in another case involving Mzalendo Kibunjia and seven others concerning the recovery of Ksh 441.4 million allegedly paid to persons who are not employed by the institution.
Another matter scheduled for hearing at the Milimani Anti-Corruption Court is the case against Priscah Osotsi, who is charged with deceiving a principal, uttering a false document, and forgery of a Bachelor of Science (Human Resource Management) degree to secure a promotion at her institution.
The court will further hear a case against Liza Anyoso, a former registry clerk at the Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company, who is charged with fraudulent acquisition of public property and forgery of a Bachelor of Commerce degree in order to secure employment.
Garissa County
In Garissa County, the Anti-Corruption Court will be hearing a case against Ismail Said Maalim, who is charged with abuse of office.
This is over the alleged irregular lease of land belonging to the State Department of Housing and Urban Development in Garissa Municipality, while serving as municipal manager in the county government of Garissa.
Kitale Law Courts
On the other hand, in the Kitale Law Court, Peggy Makungyu Malova and others will appear for a hearing over allegations of deceiving a principal through the presentation of fake certificates to secure employment and promotion at the Trans Nzoia County Government.
Additionally, the Environment and Land Court in Nyeri also has a scheduled hearing in a recovery suit against Ephantus Mate involving an alleged grabbed public land parcel in Nyeri Municipality Block 1/1088.
Another hearing at the same court involves Kamau Ruhangi and others in a recovery suit concerning Nyeri Municipality Block 1/1105, hived off government houses MG 6A and 6B.
Moreover, at the Environment and Land Court in Machakos, the commission will proceed with a recovery suit involving Wandavuu Limited and Wilson Gacanja concerning MM Block 1/678, a subdivision of Machakos Municipality Block 1/32, formerly L.R. No. 909/563 at Ngei Estate.
Milimani Anti-Corruption Court
At the Milimani Anti-Corruption Court, a mention is scheduled in a suit against Daniel M. Wambua and Judith Vaati Matheka over alleged unexplained wealth, which amounts to Ksh 124.6 million.
Similarly, another mention which involves Fatuma Mohamed, Julgem Communications Services Limited, and five others in a suit seeking recovery of public land, Nairobi Block 79/788 reserved as an open space in Buruburu Phase 5 costing Ksh 65 million.
The same court will also mention a conflict of interest case against James Mwangi Gakuya and nine others linked to the allocation of Ksh39.8 million by the National Government Embakasi North Constituency Fund Committee to roads already constructed by the Kenya Rural Roads Authority.
Also listed for mention is a case involving former National Industrial Training Authority Director General Paul Kipsang Kosgei and four others over the alleged fraudulent acquisition of public property, which involves Ksh 28.4 million paid to Xphonics Limited.

More Cases To Be Mentioned
Further mentions are scheduled in a recovery suit against Paul M. Theuri over alleged embezzlement of Ksh 3.2 million, which belongs to Egerton University.
Another mention is in a case against Kenneth Kamumbu Mugo, former Director of Roads and Transport at the Kiambu County Government, who is charged with fraudulent acquisition of public property, forgery, and uttering a forged document.
Lastly, in Embu Law Court, a hearing is scheduled in a recovery suit against Michael K. Gituto over funds that were allegedly embezzled while he worked at the Kirinyaga District Treasury.
