Nairobi City County Chief Environment Officer Geoffrey Mosiria was shocked after homeless man turned down his offer to get a new house.

The Man who lives in the streets of Eastleigh told Mosiria that he has no problem living on the streets and is much comfortable there.

He asked Mosiria to get him a pair of shoes, decent clothes and Ksh1000 and he will be satisfied.

“However, he turned down my offer, saying he was comfortable living there. Instead, he asked me to get him a new pair of shoes, decent clothes, and Kshs 1,000. I kept my promise and fulfilled his request,” said Mosiria

Earlier, Mosiria helped two Rastas living on the streets get new houses and wanted also to help the Eastleigh man secure a new house.

Mosiria further fulfilled the desires of the street man by buying him a pair of shoes and new suit.

According to Mosiria, the man was happy after securing new shoes, suit and restored sense of dignity.

Mosiria ‘s plea to the public

Mosiria urged people to practice small acts of humanity that can transform lives and fulfill the deepest desires of the heart.

He explained that people do not have to give out a lot of money to help those in need.

“Sometimes, it’s not about how much money you give someone; it’s the small acts of humanity that transform lives and fulfill the deepest desires of the heart,” Mosiria stated.

He said true kindness is not measured by what you give, but by the dignity you help restore.
