Below are several means through which students and other stakeholders can communicate with HELB in order to ask for help when applying for loans, disbursements, repayment, and scholarship programs.

According to the information provided by HELB, beneficiaries can contact the institution through its dedicated contact centre, email services, mobile platforms, social media channels, and physical offices spread across various parts of the country.

Direct HELB Communication Channels

HELB has encouraged customers to use its official hotline numbers, 0711052000 and 0719409135, for assistance.

In case an individual would like to correspond via email, he/she may do so at contactcentre@helb.co.ke.

The email service allows beneficiaries to seek clarification on applications, loan statements, repayments, scholarship issues, and other services offered by the agency.

Students can also access selected services through the HELB mobile platforms.

The institution has advised beneficiaries to use the *USSD code 642# or download the HELB mobile application to check loan balances, apply for subsequent loans, make payments, and manage various account services remotely.

In addition, HELB maintains active customer engagement channels on social media, where users can send direct messages through its official Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) pages under the handle @HELBPage.
