Confirmed Cases Along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway

These incidents add to the many death occurances along the busy Nairobi -Mombasa highway, which have claimed the lives of many Kenyans.

On February 21, 2026, five people died after a matatu belonging to Naekana Sacco collided head-on with a lorry during heavy rains.

Elsewhere, in February 2025, Johnson Nzioka, the National Chairman of Kenya Primary Schools Heads Association (KEPSHA), passed on following a tragic road accident along Mombasa Road.
