Kericho County Announces 2026 Internship Intake: How to Apply

The Kericho County Assembly Service Board has announced internship opportunities for graduates as part of its one-year internship programme aimed at providing practical work experience within the county government.
In a notice dated June 15, 2026, the Service Board said it is inviting qualified candidates to apply for internship positions across various departments within the County Assembly.
The programme is designed to run for a period of one year, offering successful applicants hands-on experience in public service and governance operations.
“The Kericho County Assembly Service Board wishes to recruit candidates for internship positions for one year,” read part of the notice.
Kericho County Opens Online Applications for One-Year Internship Programme
Interested applicants have been advised to visit the official website at https://kerichoassembly.go.ke/ to view available internship positions and the specific requirements for each role.
Additionally, the board stated that all applications must be submitted strictly online through its official recruitment portal, https://kerichoassembly.co.ke/jobs-portal/.
The Service Board further stressed that no manual applications will be accepted.

According to the County Assembly board, the deadline for submission of applications is Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., and Late applications will not be considered.
“The applications should be received on or before Tuesday, 23rd June 2026 at 5:00 p.m.”

Application Process
Applicants are advised to carefully follow the application instructions before starting the process.
Returning users can simply log in to their existing accounts, while first-time applicants are required to register and create a new account.

Therefore, after registration, a verification code will be sent to the applicant’s valid email address, which must be used to activate the account, and applicants should log in using their registered email and password.
During the application process, candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of their academic and professional certificates, such as KCSE, degree, CPA, and others, in JPG, PNG, or PDF format, and are therefore encouraged to prepare and scan their documents in advance.
