CMA Announces Seven Senior Vacancies: How to Apply

The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) has announced new senior-level job vacancies aimed at strengthening regulation, market development, enforcement, research and internal oversight within Kenya’s capital markets sector.
In an external advertisement issued on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, applications have been invited from qualified professionals for seven positions as part of ongoing efforts to enhance institutional capacity and support the development of efficient and transparent capital markets.
The recruitment has been aligned with Kenya’s long-term development agenda under Kenya Vision 2030.
CMA Opens Seven Senior Positions With Key References
Applications have been opened for seven positions, with each post carrying one available vacancy.
- Director, Research Policy & Market Development – Reference: CMA/DRPMD/01/2026
- Deputy Director, Commodities – Reference: CMA/DD-C/02/2026
- Assistant Director, Regulatory Framework – Reference: CMA/AD-RF/03/2026
- Assistant Director, Enforcement – Reference: CMA/AD-E/04/2026
- Principal Corporate Communications Officer – Reference: CMA/PCCO/05/2026
- Principal Market Development Officer – Research & Analytics – Reference: CMA/PMDO-RA/06/2026
- Principal Internal Auditor – Reference: CMA/PIA/07/2026

It has been indicated that enhanced regulatory oversight, policy formulation, enforcement mechanisms, communication functions and internal audit systems are expected to be achieved through the recruitment exercise.
Application Procedure and Deadline
Submission of applications has been directed through email to: externaladverts2026@cma.or.ke, with applicants required to forward an application letter and a detailed curriculum vitae in PDF format.
All applications are required to be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Capital Markets Authority, P.O. Box 74800–00200, Nairobi.
A deadline of July 6, 2026, has been set for receipt of applications, with communication limited strictly to shortlisted candidates after evaluation.
