Kenya Airways Publishes Official Steps to Track Lost and Delayed Baggage
Share
Kenya Airways has shared procedures for passengers to track and recover baggage that is delayed, lost, or damaged on its flights.
Passengers must report missing baggage right away at the airport.
Kenya Airways states, “Details of your baggage will be taken, and you will be offered immediate assistance.”
Passengers will then receive a file reference number, which they should keep safe. This number is necessary for tracking and filing compensation claims.
Tracking can be done online after getting the file reference number.
Kenya Airways Baggage Tracking and Delivery Services
Kenya Airways explains that passengers can “track lost baggage online if you have a file reference number” through its website.
Additionally, checked-in bags can be traced using the http://WorldTracer.Aero website.
For those without internet access, Kenya Airways offers a baggage services line at +254-20-3274747; however, callers need to provide the reference number.
For delayed baggage, the airline will arrange for delivery.
“Arrangements will be made to have it delivered to your local address when it arrives,” according to Kenya Airways.
However, the airline mentions that this service “is not available in some countries due to local government restrictions.”
