Mosiria Warns Guardian Angel Over 'Kugongewa' After Wife's Viral Gym Video With Trainer

Nairobi County official Geoffrey Mosiria has advised gospel musician Guardian Angel to accompany his wife, Esther Musila, after her videos working out with a gym instructor sparked discussion on social media.

Esther Musila recently shared videos of herself working out at a gym, with the clips attracting widespread attention on social media and prompting mixed reactions from netizens.

Reacting to the videos, Mosiria urged Guardian Angel to accompany his wife to the gym himself, saying he had previously warned men about gym instructors.

“My brother Guardian Angel, have you seen this? What did I once advise about gym instructors?” Mosiria stated.

Mosiria Says Men Should Accompany Their Wives to the Gym

He added that he would not comment further on the matter but urged men who are too busy to establish a home gym for their wives.

“Anyway, it is what it is. I will not talk more, but to our men out there, if you are too busy and your wife or girlfriend wants to go to the gym, either take her yourself or set up a gym for her at home,” he said.

Additionally, Mosiria said men should not argue that home gyms are less enjoyable than commercial gyms.

He added that if they are worried, they should set up a gym at home instead of letting their partners work out at a commercial gym, where they would be training with a gym instructor.

“Tena usikie gym ya home sio tamu! Kwani mnataka nini? Then kuna gym trainer mahali anafanya mambo,” said Mosiria.

Esther Musila Dismisses Claims of Gym Routine to Maintain Husband

Mosiria’s remarks come days after Esther Musila dismissed the claims that her commitment to fitness is driven by her marriage to gospel singer Guardian Angel.

In a Facebook post dated June 27, she argued that exercising has been part of her lifestyle for many years and has nothing to do with trying to impress or keep up with her husband.

Esther also stated that some people continue to assume that she spends time in the gym because she is married to a younger man, something she says is far from the truth.

“To those busybodies who think I work out to impress or keep up with the man I am married to, poleni sana!” Esther stated.

She further explained that her passion for fitness began long before the COVID-19 pandemic and long before the assumptions currently being made online, and she shared a throwback photo taken before the pandemic.

In addition, Esther stressed that she has no regrets about the years she has dedicated to taking care of her body and remains grateful for the consistency she has maintained over time.

“Fitness has been my lifestyle for years, and I am now thanking myself for the hard work I have put in and my body for never failing me after so many years of consistency,” she said.
