Kwale County Announces 126 Permanent and Pensionable Jobs – How to Apply

Kwale County has announced the recruitment of 126 health professionals on permanent and pensionable terms as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare service delivery across the county.
In a notice dated July 3, the board invited qualified and competent candidates to apply for positions in the Department of Health Services.
“The County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons on permanent and pensionable terms to fill the following positions in the Department of Health Services,” read part of the notice.
The advertised vacancies span across health departments, including nursing, medicine, pharmacy, laboratory services, radiography, physiotherapy, public health, and emergency medical services.

How to Apply
Interested applicants have been asked to submit their applications in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the position applied for and addressed to the Board Secretary.

The board also noted that the applications may either be posted or hand-delivered to the Kwale County Public Service Board offices located next to Kwale District Hospital and opposite Baraza Park in Kwale Town.

Additionally, the County Public Service Board said all applications must be submitted on or before Thursday, July 23, 2026, by 4:30 p.m adding that late applications will not be considered.
Applicants are required to attach copies of the following documents:
- National Identity Card
- Academic and professional certificates
- School leaving certificates and other testimonials
- Valid practising licence, where applicable
- Registration certificate from the relevant professional body
Candidates have also been advised to visit the official Kwale County Government website for detailed job descriptions, qualifications, and other requirements for each advertised position.
The County Public Service Board also encouraged women and persons living with disabilities who meet the qualifications for the advertised positions to submit their applications before the deadline.
