Dr. Ofweneke’s Ex-Wife Nicah Clarifies What Led to Their Breakup

Dr. Ofweneke’s ex-wife, Nicah, has finally broken her silence following viral claims made by a woman identified as Joan, who has been sharing videos on TikTok about her alleged past relationship with the comedian and media personality.

The online drama intensified after Joan reportedly shared photos that included Nicah’s children in an attempt to support her claims that she had been in a relationship with Dr. Ofweneke.

Nicah responded through a series of videos, expressing her disappointment over her children’s images being shared on social media and later explaining what really caused the end of her relationship with Ofweneke.

Nicah Questions Why Joan Involved Her Children

Nicah criticized Joan for posting photos that included her children, saying there was no reason to drag innocent children into an issue involving adults.

“The audacity of posting my kids on social media. First and foremost, I don’t see the reason for doing what you did. Why would you do that?” she said.

She claimed Joan had previously sent her lengthy messages explaining what Ofweneke allegedly said about her but insisted those conversations no longer mattered because the relationship ended years ago.

“Girl, he’s an ex from 10 years ago. I don’t care. Maybe if you had told me nine years ago, it would have mattered. You even came to like my Instagram posts because you wanted my attention. Now you have it, but in a different way,” she said.

She Claims She Healed and Moved On

In another video, Nicah told her followers that she had already healed from the past and was now speaking openly because she was at peace.

“Hi, how are you? I just want to clarify one thing. I healed, yes. Moved on, yes. Happy, yes. And now I have the courage to say one thing,” she said.

She explained that although she had previously said Ofweneke hit her, the incident happened only once and should not be interpreted as repeated physical abuse.

What Happened

According to Nicah, the confrontation happened after both of them were unfaithful during their relationship.

“I know I said Ofweneke hit me, and yes, he did. But he hit me once. It’s not that he used to beat me all the time,” she said.

She explained that Ofweneke had cheated on her first, prompting her to retaliate by also being unfaithful.

“He cheated first. I couldn’t hit him, so I cheated back. When he found out, he got angry, hit me once, and we broke up,” she stated.

Nicah also asked people not to twist her words by claiming she stayed in an abusive relationship.

“Don’t come and tell me I was fighting for someone who used to beat me. I cheated back. He loved me very much, and it hurt him. That’s why he hit me. Thank you,” she said.

Joan’s videos have continued to spark debate on TikTok, with many social media users questioning the timeline of her alleged relationship with Dr. Ofweneke.

The comedian had previously maintained that Joan had been his ex from about two years ago, while Joan insists they were still seeing each other as recently as December 2025.
