Arrow Bwoy: “I Thought Nadia Mukami Was My Side Chick”

Ali Yusuf, popularly known as Arrow Bwoy, has set social media buzzing after a podcast clip surfaced online on July 20, 2026

In it, he explains that Nadia Mukami was once his side chick before their relationship grew into something serious.

“Mimi hata kukutana na Nadia, I think alikuwa side chick wangu. Inamaanisha nilikuwa namwimbia yeye. Yeye ndiye alikuwa side chick hio time. Ikakuja nikabadilisha gava,” he said.

He then builds on that point by explaining how relationships often change over time. Rather than presenting it as something unusual, he framed it as a common life experience.

“Sometimes you find your current husband is someone you were just casually involved with, then it grows and he becomes the main one. You never really know who is who. It’s not like I was singing to Nadia that I had found a side chick. It’s just society and how things happen. Things happen because that’s life,” he explained.

Nadia Mukami Breaks Her Silence on Her Breakup with Arrow Bwoy

In a recent interview on Alex Mwakideu TV, Nadia shared her side of the story and explained why the relationship ended.

She clearly stated that she felt overwhelmed for a long time. Instead of feeling supported, she said she carried the relationship on her own and constantly tried to make things work.

“Me, I didn’t get time to mourn my relationship because I didn’t have time. I was breastfeeding and went back to work after two months. The separation happened when I was pregnant,” she said.

When asked whether she still loves Arrow Bwoy, she answered firmly that she doesn’t love him but is only doing her best to maintain a good relationship with him for the sake of their children.

Where They Stand Today

As a result, by May 2026, the couple officially went their separate ways after a long period of ups and downs.

Even so, the breakup did not happen suddenly. It followed about one and a half years of struggles, despite repeated efforts to fix things, coming just months after they welcomed their second child and postponed earlier wedding plans.
