Drama at Malava Funeral as Man Chased Away After Mentioning Sifuna

A funeral in Malava, Kakamega County, turned chaotic after a man was chased and a microphone was taken from him while addressing mourners moments after he mentioned Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna.

A video that has since circulated widely on social media shows the man speaking at the funeral before the situation quickly escalates as men come and take away the microphone.

As he appears to begin referencing Sifuna, several people move toward him, wrestle away the microphone, and force him to leave the speaking area, bringing his remarks to an abrupt end.

The video making rounds on social media has sparked widespread reactions from netizens, with many asking whether political remarks should be made in burial ceremonies where people are mourning.
