HELB announces its first-time application portal will open soon and urges students to prepare key documents early to avoid last-minute rush and delays.

The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) has announced that it will open its portal for first-time applicants soon.

In a notice on June 17, HELB urged students to prepare early and avoid last-minute rushes once applications go live.

To support this, the board has encouraged students across the country to use this preparation period to gather all required documents in advance.

“First-Time Applications will be opening soon. A little preparation now can save you a lot of time later,” HELB said.

In particular, it noted that early organization will help applicants avoid unnecessary delays and ensure a smoother submission process once the system becomes active.

Therefore, the board has outlined key requirements students must prepare in advance.

Avoid Last-Minute Mistakes

Moreover, students should prepare their documents early to avoid errors, delays, or incomplete submissions once the portal opens.

At the same time, HELB has urged students to stay alert and follow official communication channels for updates on the opening date and application instructions.

“Stay tuned to our official channels for application updates,” the Board added.

Finally, thousands of students are expected to apply once the portal opens, making early preparation essential for a faster and more efficient application process.
