The Kilifi County Public Service Board is seeking applications for a variety of job positions within several departments of the county government.
These positions are aimed at bolstering service delivery to citizens in Kilifi County.
At least eight jobs, representing 75 positions, have been advertised in a public notice from the board.
The openings are for a Chief Executive Officer for the Kilifi County Board for Persons with Disabilities, Ward Administrators, Assistant ECDE Teacher IIIs, ECDE Teacher IIIs, Drilling Assistants, Geologists, Engineering Surveyors, and Rigmen.
As per the advert, the majority of positions are in the early childhood education sector, with 34 vacancies for Assistant ECDE Teacher III and 26 for ECDE Teacher III.
The board also wishes to recruit seven Ward Administrators to facilitate governance at the local level, and also seven technical posts in two Engineering Surveyors, two Drilling Assistants, two Rigmen, and one Geologist.

Applicants interested in the vacancies are advised to seek more information on specific qualifications and procedures for applying from the official Kilifi County website, which will also list details for only short-listed candidates.
“Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification,” read the public notice, while further warning applicants against making any attempt to solicit favor in the process of recruitment.t
It further reminded applicants that presenting fake certificates or documentation shall be regarded as a criminal offense.

Candidates who make it through the recruitment process will be required to submit clearance certificates from statutory bodies such as the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Credit Reference Bureau (CRB), and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Officials cited that recruitment of staff is a crucial measure in delivering public services and providing wider access to services, especially in education and technical sectors within the county.
Kilifi County is also committed to the implementation of its equal opportunities policy and has therefore encouraged women, youth, and persons with disabilities to participate in the job application process.
