Kylie Jenner Sued by Ex-Chef Who Claims Gruelling Workload Caused Her Miscarriage

Kylie Jenner has been sued by her ex-chef, who says the intense workload during her high-risk pregnancy contributed to her miscarriage.

According to court documents filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, Kylie’s former chef said she repeatedly informed her supervisors that she had a high-risk pregnancy and requested workplace accommodations.

The chef also alleges that she was required to work for long hours and perform physically demanding tasks, including carrying food items to hills during events.

According to the complaint, she suffered severe haemorrhage and had lost her unborn child. She did not say the exact number of months her pregnancy was.

Lawsuit

The lawsuit also names the management firm Tri Star, alleging pregnancy discrimination against workers, retaliation, and wage violations.

Kylie’s former chef is seeking compensation for damages, while Kylie Jenner’s representative has not yet publicly responded to the allegations.

The allegations have not been proven in court, and Jenner herself has not publicly responded to the allegations.

Under both California and U.S. federal employment laws, employers are generally required to provide reasonable accommodations to eligible employees affected by pregnancy or related medical conditions, unless doing so would create an undue hardship.

Case Is In Court

Whether those legal obligations were met in this case will ultimately be determined through the court process.

The case remains before the Los Angeles Superior Court, where the parties are expected to present evidence supporting their respective positions.

As with all civil lawsuits, the filing of a complaint represents allegations made by the plaintiff and does not constitute a finding of liability or wrongdoing by the defendants.
