Meru University Announces Multiple Job Vacancies

Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST) has invited suitably qualified applicants to apply for several academic and non-academic job vacancies.
In a notice on July 28, the University said all applications must reach the institution by Tuesday, August 18, 2026, 5.00 p.m.
The university is recruiting for the following administrative positions:
- Clinical Officer III – 3 positions
- Nursing Officer III – 4 positions
- Medical Laboratory Technologist III – 1 position
- Medical Laboratory Technologist II – 1 position
- Pharmaceutical Technologist III – 1 position
- ICT Officer I (Software Developer) – 1 position
- ICT Officer I (Database Administrator) – 1 position
- ICT Officers III (ICT Technician) – 2 positions
- Driver II – 2 positions
“MUST wishes to recruit qualified and committed staff to fill the following vacant positions”. The board states.

Meru University Scholarships Programmes for Graduate Assistants
The university has published the possibility of offering scholarships to Graduate Assistants specializing in areas such as Power System Switchgear and Protection, Measurement, Instrumentation and Control, High Voltage, Electronics, Telecommunications, Communication and Transmission, Mechatronics, Electrical Machines and ICT.
There are also more scholarship vacancies for Technologists and Technicians in the following fields: Renewable Energy and Smart Grid, High Voltage, Electrical Machines, Electronics, Telecommunications, Communication and Transmission, Mechatronics, ICT/IT and Electrical Machines & Power Systems.
“For the advertised scholarship positions, the board will only take 1 intake” MUST be noted.

Application Deadline
The university stressed that applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the latest.
MUST also cautioned applicants against paying for recruitment services, claiming that there are no fees at any point in the hiring process (applications, shortlisting, and interviewing).
The institution called upon women, minorities, and people with disabilities to apply, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to equal opportunities in the workplace.
