Relative Exposes Senior SDA Leader, Claims His Sister Lives in a Leaking Mud House

Share

Shock as Dr Wyllis’s niece, Kefrine, reveals that the condition of his sister’s house is bad and her roof leaks when raining on social media.

His niece took it to social media to sarcastically embarrass his uncle, who is the Director of Education, Health, Chaplaincy, and Adventist Possibility Ministries (APM) for the South Kenya Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He says Dr Wyllis Oruta is a successful man and has four houses in the same town where his sister lives, but his sister’s house is a mud house and it leaks every time it rains.

Dr Wyllis has over 24 years of ministry, holds a Bachelor’s degree from Spicer Adventist University (India), and a Master’s and PhD from Andrews University (USA).

Dr Oruta’s Career

He has served as a pastor, chaplain, lecturer, and education leader, and currently serves as the Education Secretary for SDA schools in the conference and a member of the Kisii County Education Board.

He has also taught in Bogiakumu Secondary School (before theological studies), Bugema University.

Additionally, he went to the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton and Kisii University (postgraduate Religion courses, including Ecumenism & Islam), since 2015.

His niece is surprised by all these achievements, while he allegedly cannot help his own sister build a nice house.

Social Media Reactions

“I post this not to diminish anyone’s achievements, but to raise a difficult question about people around us. Success in ministry, education, or leadership carries with it a responsibility to care for those closest to us, especially our elderly parents,” she said.

Dr Oruta’s niece has called him out and told him that he is supposed to take care of people around him after being successful in his endeavours.

This has sparked a debate among netizens who are asking whether this is right or the niece is just entitled to what is not hers.
