Rongo University Advertises Job Opportunities: How To Apply

Rongo University has announced nine job vacancies available in academic and administrative positions in an advertisement.
A notice dated May 12, 2026, states that the vacancies are advertised by the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Administration, Finance, and Planning.
Rongo University is inviting qualified candidates to apply for various teaching and non-teaching positions.
According to the notice, the university is seeking to recruit one lecturer each in Soil Science, Environmental Science, and Special Needs Education, Visual Impairment.
Lecturer Positions
The Special Needs Education post was listed as a re-advertisement.
The institution has also advertised a Tutorial Fellow position in Pure Mathematics and Applied Statistics, in addition to one Research Assistant vacancy.
The lecturer positions have been classified under Grade RU 12, while the Tutorial Fellow jobs fall under Grade RU 11.
The Research Assistant role has been listed under Grade RU 10.

Administrative Roles
In the administrative department, the university is hiring an Assistant Registrar in Human Resources, an Accountant.
Rongo is also hiring an Assistant Accountant II.
The advertisement requires interested applicants to submit ten copies of their applications.
The candidates should also include an updated curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, transcripts, testimonials, and other relevant documents.
How To Apply
Applicants have been further instructed in the notice to clearly indicate the position applied for, together with the reference number on the application letter and envelope.
The applications are to be addressed to the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Finance and Planning, through P.O. Box 103 – 40404, Rongo.
Rongo University has directed applicants to visit its official vacancies portal for additional details and requirements related to the advertised jobs.

The university stated that all applications must be received on or before June 3, 2026, at 5:00 p.m which is the deadline.
The notice further warned that any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification, adding that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
