Water Resources Authority Announces 120 Job Opportunities-How to Apply

The Water Resources Authority (WRA) has announced 120 job opportunities across various departments.
In a notice dated Tuesday, May 12, 2026, the Authority invited qualified candidates to apply for the positions.
“The Management of the Authority wishes to identify and recruit capable officers for the underlisted positions,” read part of the notice.

Among the junior positions advertised by the Authority are Water Resources Assistant III (Enforcement and Compliance), Assistant Engineering Officer III, Customer Care Assistant III, Information Communication Technology (ICT) Assistant III, Assistant Accountant/Revenue Officer III, Assistant Office Administrator III, Driver II, Office Assistant I, and Office Assistant II.
Some of the senior positions advertised include Principal Water Resources Officer (Capacity Building) – WRA 5 (1 vacancy), Senior Water Resources Officer (Standards and Regulation) – WRA 6 (1 vacancy), Senior Hydrologist – WRA 6 (1 vacancy), and Water Resources Officer I (Standards and Regulation) – WRA 7 (1 vacancy).

Terms of Service and Remuneration
The Authority stated that successful candidates will serve on a six-month probation period before being confirmed to permanent and pensionable terms, subject to satisfactory performance.
WRA also noted that remuneration for successful applicants will be based on the existing terms approved by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
Further, the Authority said it is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and gender equality, encouraging persons living with disabilities to apply for the advertised positions.
Applicants were also warned that applications lacking the required qualifications and supporting documents will not be considered.
The Authority added that any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
