Salute Holdings Limited Placed Under Receivership as Receiver and Manager Appointed

Imperial Bank placed Salute Holdings under receivership on May 5, 2026, appointed a manager, restricted asset dealings, and directed creditors to file claims within 30 days.

Imperial Bank Limited (In Liquidation) has placed Salute Holdings Limited under receivership after appointing a receiver and manager to take control of the company’s operations and assets on May 5, 2026.

Under the Insolvency Act, No. 18 of 2015, the bank confirmed the appointment of Kamal Anantroy Bhatt of Anant Bhatt LLP, who now runs the company’s affairs, assets and business.

“Notice is hereby given that Kamal Anantray Bhatt, of Anant Bhatt LLP, has been appointed the Receiver and Manager (‘the Receiver’) of SALUTE HOLDINGS LIMITED (‘the Company’) on 5th May 2026 by Imperial Bank Limited (In Liquidation) (‘the Bank’),” read part of the notice.

Following the appointment, the Receiver now controls the company’s business, assets and undertakings, removing the directors from management.

“The powers of the Receiver extend to all assets and undertakings of the company. Only the Receiver and his representatives are authorised to deal with the assets of the Company,” the notice read.

Restrictions Placed on Dealings with Salute Holdings Limited Property

The notice also bars any individual or entity from handling, transferring or transacting with the company’s assets without prior written approval from the Receiver.

“Any person who purports to hold, receive, use, or attempt to buy or sell, contract, or otherwise deal with the assets of the Company or with the Company without the prior written consent of the Receiver will be acting in contravention of the law and will be liable to legal action,” the notuce stated.

Creditors Given 30 Days to Submit Claims

Meanwhile, creditors must submit their claims to the Receiver within 30 days to support the administration process.

The notice also requires the company’s directors to furnish the Receiver with a Statement of Affairs within 12 days from the date of the notice.

It further clarifies that the Receiver acts on behalf of the company without personal liability, and directs all claims, queries and related matters to the address below:

Other Companies Placed Under Receivership

The move comes after Imperial Bank Limited earlier placed Nafas World Auto (K) Limited under receivership and appointed Kamal Anantroy Bhatt of Anant Bhatt LLP as Receiver and Manager on March 26, 2026, according to a notice issued on April 23, 2026, under the Insolvency Act.

Similarly, the bank also took over Mawa Dairy Farm Limited and appointed Kamal Anantroy Bhatt as Receiver and Manager on April 20, 2026, as confirmed in a notice dated July 22.
