Shock in Kajiado as Man Poses as Schoolgirl to Gain Entry Into Family Home

Residents of Kware Village in Nkaimurunya Ward, Kajiado North, were left in shock after a man allegedly disguised himself as a schoolgirl and gained entry into a family home before being discovered under suspicious circumstances.

According to reports from the area, the suspect identified himself as Kevin Mong’are and arrived in the village dressed in a school uniform.

The suspect was reportedly carrying a Bible and several exercise books while claiming that he had been stranded and had nowhere to spend the night.

A local shop owner then sympathized with the “school girl” after hearing the story and decided to offer accommodation for the night where he lives with his family.

However, the situation reportedly changed later in the night after family members became suspicious of the visitor’s behavior.

Reports indicate that the suspect allegedly sneaked into the bed where the shop owner’s daughter was sleeping, which prompted an alarm within the household.

The incident quickly attracted the attention of residents, who gathered at the homestead after word spread through their village.

Witnesses claimed that the suspect’s appearance and conduct raised further suspicion, with some residents alleging that he had been moving around while disguised as a female student.

Residents Question Security

Residents reportedly detained the suspect before local authorities were informed of the matter.

No official police statement had been released by the time of publication, and it remains unclear whether the suspect has been formally charged.

The incident has therefore started a debate among residents on the importance of verifying the identity of strangers around the community, especially in places where hospitality toward stranded individuals is common.
