Stephen Letoo to Vie for Kilgoris MP Seat on ODM Ticket

Citizen TV journalist Stephen Letoo is set to vie for the Kilgoris parliamentary seat on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket.
Speaking in Kilgoris, Narok County, during an ODM mega rally and the launch of the party’s Kilgoris branch office on Friday, August 28, 2026, Homa Bay Governor and ODM Chairperson Gladys Wanga said she would hand Letoo the party’s cap as he seeks to contest the seat.
Wanga’s remarks appear to confirm Letoo’s intention to join the race for the Kilgoris parliamentary seat under the ODM ticket.
His announcement comes after months of speculation surrounding Letoo’s political ambitions and the party he would choose to contest the seat.
The journalist has been engaging residents through community initiatives and education empowerment programmes, activities that have increasingly positioned him as a potential political contender in the constituency.
