A property dispute has emerged online after a man came up with court documents on social media to prove that he won a case against his ex-wife.
In a video circulating widely on social media, the man is seen holding court documents and saying that he won the case and his ex-wife should stop following him.
“These are court documents which say I won the case and you lost,” The man says in the video.
The two were initially married, and the wife built a house on the husband’s ancestral land before things went south and they got a divorce.
The man is angry in the video while conveying a message, which is supposedly to his ex-wife, saying that the house is his and that the ex-wife should give up.
He says in the video that his ex wife can even send goons to beat him, but he is on his land in his house, and he does not care.
“You can send goons to come beat me or even kill me, but this is my house, and it is on my land,” he said.
The man alleges that his ex-wife is threatening him while also lying to people that she has won the case.

He tells the ex-wife in the video that she knows where he lives, she should find him and do what she wants because he does not fear her.
Cases like this emerge online mostly after couples divorce and start claiming property that they acquired while married.
The Kenyan law, however, says that any property that is permanent on the land belongs to the owner of the land.
The video continues circulating on social media as netizens give their opinions on the matter.
A Facebook user commented, “But that’s the painful truth.”
