4:50 pm – Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s body has been loaded off from the hearse to a gun carriage at Opoda farm.

4:33 pm – Raila Odinga remains body has been offloaded from the plane to hearse at his Opoda farm, Bondo.

4:15 pm – Military chopper carrying Raila Odinga’s remains lands in Opoda farm, Bondo for over-night stay.

3:50 pm – Raila Odinga’s body has been loaded inside military chopper after public viewing has ended and is being taken to Opoda farm, Bondo for over night stay.

3:10 pm – Public viewing of Raila Odinga’s body has ended at Mamboleo grounds.

1:10 pm – The Raila Odinga State Funeral Committee has announced that they will airlift Raila Odinga’s remains from Kisumu to Bondo for over night stay.

Earlier, it was planned that Odinga’s body was to be transported by road from Kisumu to Bondo after viewing exercise.

9:40 am – Public has started viewing the remains of Raila Odinga at Mamboleo grounds. Event organizers were heard cautioning viewers of taking pictures of the body.

9:27 am – Politicians have been asked to leave the tent where the body of Raila Odinga is lying. Event organizers were heard requesting the leaders to step out, clarifying that they would view the body after members of the public.

8:47 am – Military aircraft carrying the body of Raila Odinga lands at Mamboleo Stadium ahead of public viewing.

8:20 – Raila Odinga’s body was lowered from the military aircraft and transferred to another aircraft for airlifting to Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium in Kisumu

8:00 am – Raila Odinga’s body has been offloaded from a military helicopter to a funeral carriage at Kisumu International Airport.

7:18 am – The aircraft carrying the body of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has arrived at Kisumu International Airport. It received a water cannon salute in his honor.

6:30 am – Military plane carrying the body of Raila Odinga leaves Nairobi for Kisumu.
