Aggrey Mokaya Keroko is a 32-year-old matatu conductor married to one wife.
He is the firstborn in his family and has been married for seven years.
Together with his wife, they have a six-year-old son.
He currently bears several bruises and scars on his face and body, which he says resulted from repeated domestic violence.
According to Aggrey, the first three years of their marriage were peaceful and happy.
However, problems began to emerge afterward.
One issue that frequently frustrated him was his wife’s silence whenever they disagreed.
Eventually, when he confronted her about it, she began expressing her grievances.
She accused him of coming home late from work every evening.
Furthermore, she claimed that members of her tribe possessed special abilities to know hidden things.
Based on this belief, she insisted that Aggrey was having an affair with another woman.
Consequently, she repeatedly accused him of infidelity.
The Start of His Wife Alleged Abuse
Over time, the accusations became more frequent and were accompanied by shouting and insults.
Soon, the arguments turned violent.
Aggrey says his wife would scratch him with her fingernails and physically assault him.
At times, she allegedly beat him with a metal object, leaving him too injured to report to work.
On Friday, July 3, 2026, Aggrey says his wife locked him outside the house before leaving and ignored all his phone calls.
Later that day, when she returned home, another confrontation followed.
According to Aggrey, she implied that she had been involved in prostitution.
Angered by what he believed was an admission of infidelity, he confronted her.

At the same time, they argued over household finances.
Aggrey claimed that he was solely responsible for providing for the family.
“You don’t bring any money into this house, not even think of buying a matchbox in the house, because I’m the one who ‘should’ provide. You buy 20 litres of cooking oil, bar soap, and other household items, hide them under the bed, then later sell them back to me.”
These were Aggreys’ words to his wife.
He said he only discovered this after finding the hidden household items beneath their bed.
According to him, although his wife earned an income, she rarely used it to purchase household necessities.
Instead, whenever supplies ran out, she would immediately call him and expect him to provide.
Additionally, Aggrey believes the relationship affected him spiritually.
He says he stopped attending church after his wife came into his life.
Following their argument, the violence allegedly escalated once again.
The Trauma the Narcissistic Wife Caused Their Son
Aggrey says his wife scratched his face with her fingernails before throwing a bottle of water at him.
She also pushed and threw him around the house.
Throughout the ordeal, their six-year-old son repeatedly begged his parents to stop fighting.

As a result, Aggrey believes the incident deeply traumatized their son.
Emotionally overwhelmed, Aggrey revealed that he carries a small handwritten note in his wallet addressed to himself, his son, and the world.
Tearfully, he said:
“I have written here apologizing to myself, and to my son, even though you don’t yet know the difference between death and sleeping, one day you will understand. To the world and society, I know you will judge me and say that I never spoke up. However, I have told many people but still…”
He explained that he did not write a message to his wife because, in his view, she is the source of his suffering.
Finally, Aggrey described his wife as someone who appeared warm, friendly, and kind in public.
However, he said she behaved very differently at home, describing her as narcissistic and abusive.
Today, Aggrey wears a mask whenever he goes out.
He says he does so to hide the bruises on his face and to avoid the stigma and judgment from members of the public.
In contrast to all these, the wife claims that Aggrey beats her up if she questions him to a point where he rips her clothes off in front of their child.
However, there are no marks or bruises to show for it.
