Mercy Makini Breaks Silence on Claims She Is Part of Morara’s Polygamous Family

Mercy Makini has broken her silence after Morara Kebaso publicly confirmed that he is a polygamous man with two wives, telling him to stop linking her to his personal affairs.

In a statement dated Thursday, September 10, 2026, Mercy said Morara had continued mentioning her despite previously saying he did not want their family matters discussed on social media.

“You have constantly dragged me into your affairs, even after repeatedly saying you don’t want our issues on social media. Yet you continue to provoke and mention me. Enough is enough.”

Mercy, who is the mother of Morara’s three children, said she left the relationship on March 2, 2026, and had chosen to move forward with her life.

Her response came after Morara said during an interview on Etaya Radio 100.3 on Wednesday, September 9, that he had two wives.

“I am a polygamous man. I have two wives,” Morara said.

Mercy Says She Left Over Domestic Violence

Mercy said her decision to leave the relationship was linked to what she described as domestic violence, including alleged physical assaults during her pregnancy.

“First, I walked away because of domestic violence.”

She said she had remained silent for years because she wanted to keep private matters away from the public, accusing Morara of continuing to portray himself as a victim while referring to her in his narrative.

“You know very well what happened, including the times you physically assaulted me while I was expectant.”

Mercy said she eventually decided to leave and rebuild her life in peace away from the relationship maintaining that she had not returned to the since leaving Morara’s home.

“I left your home on 2nd March 2026, and I have never looked back.”

Mercy Says Polygamy Is Morara’s Business

Addressing Morara’s comments about having two wives, Mercy said his marital choices no longer concerned her and asked him to stop creating the impression that she remained part of his personal life.

“As for this talk about polygamy, please stop creating the impression that I am still part of your life. Polygamy is your business, not mine.”

Mercy also addressed a court case involving the two, saying she would not discuss it at this stage but maintained that Morara was the one who sued her.
