The Kenya Meteorological Department (Kenya Met) has issued a weather outlook for the period from November 4 to November 10.
In a publication dated November 3rd, Kenya Met said rainfall is expected to continue in several parts of the country, most notably in the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the Coast, the South-eastern lowlands, and North-eastern Kenya
In addition, daytime maximum average temperatures of more than 30°C are expected in the Coast, North-eastern and North-western Kenya, as well as over some parts of the South-eastern lowlands and the Highlands West of the Rift Valley.
Night-time minimum average temperatures are expected to be less than 10°C in some parts of the Highlands East of the Rift Valley, the Central Rift Valley, and in the vicinity of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
This region consists of counties like Nandi, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Siaya, Busia, Baringo, Nakuru, Trans-Nzoia, Uasin-Gishu, Elgeyo-Marakwet, West-Pokot, Kisii, Nyamira, Kericho, Bomet, Kisumu, Homabay, Migori, and Narok.
Sunny intervals are expected in the mornings, though rain may occur in a few places.
Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected over a few places during the first half of the forecast period increasing to several places thereafter.
Nights are expected to be partly cloudy, though showers may occur overa few places.
North-western Kenya
Turkana and Samburu Counties will experience morning rains as well as afternoon and night showers, and thunderstorms may occur over a few places during the second half of the forecast period.
Sunny intervals are expected during the day, while nights are likely to be partly cloudy.
The region has counties like Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang’a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka-Nithi, and Nairobi.
Mornings are likely to be cloudy, with occasional rains over a few places, giving way to sunny intervals.
Afternoon showers are likely to occur over a few places during the first half of the forecast period increasing to several places thereafter.
Nights are expected to be partly cloudy, though showers may occur over a few places.
This region has only five counties, including Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, and Isiolo.
Morning rains, as well as afternoon and night showers, are likely to occur over a few places.
The South-eastern lowlands
It comprises of Machakos, Kitui, Makueni, Kajiado, and Taita-Taveta Counties as well as the inland parts of Tana-River County.
Morning rains, as well as afternoon and night showers, are likely to occur over a few places.
The afternoon and night showers may occasionally spread to several places during the second half of the forecast period.

The Coast
Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, and Kwale Counties, as well as the coastal parts of Tana River County, are counties in the coastal region.
Kenya Met said morning showers are likely to occur over a few places.
Afternoon showers will continue over a few places.
In addition, night showers are likely to occur over a few places.
