Gachagua’s DCP Blogger Abducted by Hooded Men

DCP Party blogger known as Justin Kinyua has been abducted by unknown men and taken to an unknown location.

According to the Women Representative of Kirinyaga Njeri Maina, hooded men have abducted the blogger on August 4 2026.

“DCP Party Blogger, Justin Kinyua has been abducted by hooded gunmen and is being driven to an unknown destination as we speak,” said Njeri.

As posted on her social media page Njeri says she is following up on the matter and will continue to provide updates as needed.

Abduction

Njeri says the incident happened because it is the era of political intimidation and she claims that she will not relent.

Additionally she says that she will stand by the constitution and young people who have the rights to free speech and to be protected by the constitution.

“We shall stand by the constitution and the young people of this great nation, whose right to free speech and political affiliation is protected by the constitution,” Njeri said.

Njeri further added that she is with senator Kamau Murango and Mathenge to follow up on the matter and they will update on the developments.

More Details Expected

“Sen. Kamau Murango, Hon. Mathenge and I are following up on it and shall update on the developments,” she said on her page.

By the time of publication, the circumstances surrounding the alleged abduction still remained unclear and it has not yet been established who the hooded men are.

The DCP Party has not yet released a statement regarding the matter while the National Police Service have also not yet made comments regarding the same.

Additionally the alleged abduction comes amid growing concerns over reported cases of abductions and disappearances of government critics and activists.

More details in to the matter are expected to emerge as authorities and DCP Party are expected to intervene and know where the blogger is.
