Kenya Pipeline Company Shuts Door on Newspapers, Moves All Tender Notices Online

The Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) has announced a change in its procurement communication process, confirming that all tender notices will now be published exclusively on its official website starting June 9, 2026.

In a notice dated June 9, 2026, the company stated that all tender advertisements, procurement opportunities, and related updates will be accessible only through its online platform.

“Kenya Pipeline Company PLC wishes to notify all current and prospective bidders that, effective 9th June 2026 all tender advertisements, procurement opportunities, and related information will be published exclusively on the Company’s official website,” read part of the notice.

KPC further revealed that it will no longer issue tender notices through print media or direct individual notifications, unless otherwise stated.

KPC Moves Tender Notices Online

According to the company, the decision is aimed at improving transparency, efficiency, and access to procurement information.

“In line with our commitment to transparency, efficiency, and improved access to procurement information, bidders are hereby advised to regularly visit our website to access available tender opportunities, download bidding documents, and obtain any clarifications, addenda, or updates related to ongoing tenders,” the notice stated.

In addition, KPC noted that centralizing procurement information online will ensure faster communication and easier access for all interested bidders.

All procurement opportunities will now be available on the company’s official website:
https://www.kpc.co.ke.

The company also encouraged all current and prospective bidders to regularly check the platform for updates, including tender documents and amendments.

How to Access and Submit Tenders

To view active tenders and submit bids, KPC advised bidders to use its official procurement systems. Tender documents will be available through the KPC e-procurement platform.

All interested bidders must also register their companies on the KPC SRM Portal.

Bids must be submitted online strictly through the SRM portal by uploading them into the “Collaboration Folder.”
