Kenyatta University has announced multiple job vacancies across several departments, inviting qualified and dedicated applicants to apply for 11 different positions before the April deadline.
The university said the opportunities span internal audit, research, alumni programmes, and technical services, offering employment opportunities to professionals with varying qualifications and experience levels.
Vacancies in the Internal Audit Department
Under the Internal Audit Department, the university is seeking to recruit professionals to fill the following positions:
- Chief Internal Auditor- Grade 15
- Risk Manager-Grade 13
- Risk Officer – Grade C/D
Opportunities at National Phytotherapeutics Research Centre
The National Phytotherapeutics Research Centre (NPRC) has advertised several technical positions in quality assurance, microbiology, and food safety.
Available roles include:
- Senior Technician – Quality Assurance Section (Grade E/F)
- Technician -Quality Assurance Section (Grade C/D)
- Technician – Microbiology Section (Grade C/D)
- Technician – Food & Safety Section (Grade C/D)
- Technician – Food & Safety Section (Grade III/IV)
- Machine Operator (Grade III/IV)
Directorate of Endowment and Alumni Programmes Vacancies
The Directorate of Endowment and Alumni Programmes is also hiring qualified candidates for administrative roles.
Open positions include:
- Endowment Officer – Grade 11
- Development Officer – Grade 11
Successful candidates will support fundraising, alumni engagement, and development initiatives within the university.
Technical Role at Kenyatta University Funeral Home
The Kenyatta University Funeral Home has advertised one technical vacancy:
Refrigeration Technician – Grade A/B

Terms of Service and Requirements
According to the notice, successful candidates will receive a basic salary and house allowance as part of the employment package.
