Supplier prequalification is the process of evaluating businesses before procurement begins to determine whether they meet the qualifications to supply goods or services.
Businesses that are prequalified are placed on an approved list and may later be invited to bid for specific contracts.
Therefore, the organization stated that the prequalification process is intended to establish a list of eligible suppliers who may be considered for future procurement opportunities during the 2026–2028 period.
