Shock as Ruiru ‘Vampire Man’ Lures Woman to Room for One-Night Stand Before Biting Her Lower Lip

The people of Ruiru and other surrounding regions of Nairobi are still living in fear after new claims emerged that the “Ruiru Vampire” lured a woman to his bedroom under the pretence of having a one-night stand before allegedly attacking her by biting off a chunk of her lower lip.
This new case has revived the concerns of bizarre attacks carried out by a mystery man in Gitothua and deep West regions of Ruiru Sub-county, with victims claiming that he bites people then flees from the scene.
The attacks have created panic among the locals, who are calling for urgent action by the authorities to arrest the suspect.
According to claims made on social media and local broadcasts, the lady apparently agreed to accept the invite, but things took a bad turn when she was assaulted in his bedroom, where instead of a romantic rendezvous, he bit into her lower lip before escaping from the scene.
Frightened Residents
This incident is one of several that have made people live in fear of being bitten and therefore do not walk alone at night time.
Some locals have stated that the attacker has been making people fear him because he attacks them unexpectedly and bites them.
As a result, he has been nicknamed “Ruiru Vampire” or “man-eater.”
Some locals have claimed that they have had narrow escapes from him because he shows up suddenly and tries to bite them.

Other people have said that there are people who have been injured on the lips or even other parts of their body.
Residents have, as a result, asked for increased police patrols and security.
Response from the Police Force
There are claims that police investigations have begun into the biting incidents amid growing complaints from residents.
At this point, there is no confirmation that the police have arrested the perpetrator of the attacks.

It is claimed that the authorities are collecting statements from the victims and witnesses, and asking people for information about the alleged criminal who may be at large or who can be identified through such information.
The security officials also advised residents to be on guard and not get involved in any dangerous situation but report it to the police.
