St. Lucie Kiriri Girls Announces Teaching, Laboratory Technician Vacancies: How to Apply

St. Lucie Kiriri Girls Secondary School has announced vacancies for teachers and a laboratory technician as the Catholic senior girls’ boarding school moves to strengthen its academic team.
According to the vacancy announcement, the school is inviting applications from qualified candidates in various subject combinations across its curriculum offerings, including 8-4-4, KCSE, Competency Based Education (CBE) and the British National Curriculum (IGCSE).
Meanwhile, the school continues to implement diverse learning pathways under the CBE curriculum. It offers three pathways: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Arts and Sports, and Social Sciences.
“The school offers three pathways under the CBE: i) Stem, ii) Arts and sports, and iii) Social sciences respectively,” St. Lucie Kiriri Girls stated.

In line with its academic expansion, the institution is seeking teachers in the following subject combinations:
- Mathematics/Physics
- Biology/Chemistry
- Geography/Business Studies
- Mathematics/Geography
- Swahili/History
- History/CRE
- English/Literature
- Physics/Chemistry
- Mathematics/Business Studies
- Computer Studies
- Home Science
- French/any other
- Art/any other

Senior Teachers Qualification and Experience
To begin with, the school is recruiting senior teachers who can take up both instructional and leadership roles.
Applicants must hold a minimum Bachelor of Education degree or an equivalent qualification with two mandatory teaching subjects.
In addition, they must have at least 10 years of teaching experience and a proven track record of presenting KCSE candidates with strong performance.
Further, candidates must demonstrate a clear ability to lead, supervise, and mentor. They must also be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
Teachers Qualification and Experience
Similarly, the institution is inviting applications from qualified teachers to fill positions across the listed subject areas.
Candidates must hold a minimum Bachelor of Education degree or an equivalent qualification with two required teaching subjects.
Additionally, they should have between five and seven years of teaching experience and must have presented KCSE candidates with proven performance.
Moreover, all applicants must be registered with TSC.

Laboratory Technician
At the same time, the school has advertised a laboratory technician position covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
“The Laboratory Technician must have a Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology or Bachelor of Science degree (Medical Laboratory Science),” the school stated.
In addition, the successful applicant must have at least five years of relevant laboratory experience.
Application Deadline And Requirements
Finally, the school has outlined the application process for interested candidates.
“Interested applicants should submit a copy of the application letter together with CV, certificates and testimonials to the address given below, the names and addresses of three (3) referees, one of whom should be your present or previous employer,” the institution stated.
Notably, applicants should apply on or before the stated deadline of August 19, 2026.
