Kenya Electricity Generating Company Plc (KenGen) has announced plans to apply for electricity transmission and distribution licences for its upcoming KenGen Green Energy Park project. The application is set to be submitted to the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) on June 2, 2026, in line with Section 119 (3) of the Energy Act, 2019.
