Share

Migori police officers arrested a suspect linked to a series of violent robberies during an intelligence-led operation that also yielded a loaded firearm.

According to officers from Migori Police Station, the team intercepted the suspect after setting up an ambush along the Migori–Kawa main road near Migori Stadium in Nyasare Sub-Location.

The officers acted on intelligence that pointed to the suspect’s movement route. They laid in wait and later stopped a grey Toyota Succeed, registration number KDM 289F, which they believe the suspect used as a getaway vehicle. They then searched the vehicle and recovered a loaded firearm.

” A Taurus revolver was recovered hidden in a compartment near the gear lever, loaded with seven rounds and ready for action,” the police confirmed.
