Pistol and Motorcycles Recovered as Police Arrest Suspected Robbers Linked to Nairobi Robberies

Detectives first conducted investigations that helped piece together the gang’s criminal activities.

The team later carried out an intelligence-led operation along Ngina Road in Kawangware, where officers arrested Nimrod Khayeshe, alias Buba.

Following his arrest, Khayeshe led police to his two alleged accomplices, Vangelis Njungi, alias Vangi, and Patrick Kingato.

Officers also recovered a Retay Falcon pistol fitted with a magazine containing three 9mm rounds during the search.

Additionally, police recovered two motorcycles, registration numbers KMGT 497W and KMHG 829H.

Authorities believe the suspects used these specific motorbikes as getaway vehicles during their robberies.

Legal Processing 

Currently, the three suspects remain in police custody undergoing official processing.

The suspects are awaiting arraignment in court, while police hold the confiscated firearm and motorcycles as key exhibits.
