Safaricom customers using Fuliza M-PESA can refresh their borrowing limit through the My OneApp application.

The option allows customers to request a review of their existing Fuliza limit directly through the App.

To get started, Kenyans should:

  1. Open the My OneApp application on their mobile device.
  2. Navigate to the Fuliza M-PESA section.
  3. Select “Refresh My Limit” to request a review of their borrowing limit.

However, the provided source only confirms that customers can request a review of their Fuliza limit, but it does not state that every request will increase.

Fuliza is an overdraft service offered by Safaricom in partnership with NCBA Bank and KCB Bank Kenya, which allows eligible M-PESA customers to complete transactions even when they do not have enough money in their M-PESA wallets.

Therefore, each time one uses Fuliza, they are charged a one-time access fee equal to 1% of the amount they borrow.

In addition to the access fee, customers also pay a daily maintenance fee starting the next day at midnight (12:00 a.m.) until the outstanding balance is cleared.
