The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) has announced 33 job vacancies across various departments, including driver positions requiring a minimum KCSE grade of D (plain) and offering a salary of up to Ksh 67,340.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the Authority invited qualified Kenyans to apply for the positions.
“The Authority seeks to recruit results-oriented Kenyan citizens with drive, vision and creativity to fill the following vacant positions,” read part of the notice.
Among the advertised roles are four Driver II positions. Applicants must have a KCSE mean grade of D (plain), at least two years of driving experience, and a valid driving licence. The salary ranges between Ksh 44,720 and Ksh 67,340.
The Authority is also hiring three Office Assistant II staff, with a salary ranging between Ksh 38,010 and Ksh 57,240. The role requires a KCSE grade of D (plain) and basic computer skills.
Other vacancies include positions in investigations, complaints management, legal services, research, and accounting.
Separately, IPOA has also advertised the position of Chairperson of its Board. The role requires candidates to meet qualifications equivalent to those of a High Court judge, including at least 10 years of experience in the legal field. The successful candidate will serve a non-renewable six-year term.
