Kenya Airways Nominated in Six Categories at World Travel Awards 2026

Kenya Airways has invited members of the public to take part in voting for the World Travel Awards 2026, following its nomination in several major African categories.
In a statement dated June 3, 2026, the airline said the nominations reflect its long-standing commitment to connecting Africa to the world while delivering consistent and memorable travel experiences.
“For decades, we have connected Africa to the world and the world to Africa, creating memorable experiences both in the air and on the ground,” read part of the statement.
Kenya Airways added that it continues to position itself as a leading carrier within Africa’s aviation industry.
Kenya Airways Nominated For 6 Africa-Focused Categories
The airline stated that it has been shortlisted in six Africa-focused categories, adding that the nominations recognize both customer trust and the dedication of its staff.
These include:
- Africa’s Leading Airline 2026
- Africa’s Leading Airline – Business Class 2026
- Africa’s Leading Airline – Economy Class 2026
- Africa’s Leading Airline Brand 2026
- Africa’s Leading Inflight Magazine 2026 (Msafiri)
- Africa’s Leading Lounge 2026 (Pride Lounge)
According to Kenya Airways, the nominations are a reflection of the trust passengers place in its services every day.
“These nominations reflect the trust you place in us every day and the passion of our teams who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional experiences,” read part of the statement.

Meanwhile, to vote:
- Register an account on the official voting platform
- Verify your email address through a confirmation link
- Log in and select your preferred nominees
The nominees are listed alphabetically in each category, and Voting for Africa closes on July 17, 2026, at midnight (UK time).
