Kenyan businesses using the WhatsApp Business Platform will start paying for service messages from October 1, 2026, under a new pricing model introduced by Meta. The company will charge businesses about $0.0040 (Ksh0.52) for each delivered utility message sent to a customer. The new charges will apply to businesses that use the WhatsApp Business Platform
