A middle-aged man pleaded guilty on Tuesday in an Eldoret court to stealing two Bibles and a kamusi from a supermarket in Uasin Gishu County. Victor Nyamwari Ondari appeared before Eldoret Chief Resident Magistrate Kimani Mukabi and admitted to the theft of the items, which is said to have been committed on June 7, 2026.
Residents of Shirika Estate, Uasin Gishu county witnessed an odd spectacle when a suspected housebreaker turned himself in to the police while being chased by an unrelenting swarm of bees. The incident began on Wednesday evening when Mr. Emmanuel Wafula reported a daytime burglary at his home to the Baharini Police Station (OB No. 30/18/12/2025).
