A Mombasa-based banker, Hannington Muthoka, has been convicted of attempted murder after a court found him guilty of stabbing his former lover, Elizabeth Shigari Bana, three times. Elizabeth Bana, a teacher at Changamwe Secondary School, had met Muthoka while conducting banking business at the KCB Changamwe branch, where he worked. Reports state that Muthoka was
