Drama at Liz Kerubo’s Burial as Son Stop Father From Introducing Second Wife & Children

The burial of late gospel singer Liz Kerubo turned dramatic after a public family dispute erupted before mourners in Kijauri, Nyamira County.

The bereaved husband struggled to communicate as mourners repeatedly booed and murmured throughout his speech.

He requested his second family to join him on stage beside Liz Kerubo’s children.

The man praised himself for acknowledging his second family. Moreover, he claimed many men would have hidden such a family instead.

While speaking in the local dialect, he also said he singlehandedly transported his wife’s body to the burial site.

However, that statement sparked louder jeers, laughter, and murmurs from the crowd.

As the atmosphere became more hostile, he attempted to introduce his second family.

Instead, mourners reacted with even louder boos.

Son Takes Microphone and Sends Second Family Away

Moments later, Liz Kerubo’s first son walked confidently toward his father and grabbed the microphone.

The father quietly stepped away from the stage, and his second family followed him as mourners screamed and wailed while they left the tent.

After taking the microphone, the first son calmed the gathering.

He stated that only Elizabeth’s children would be recognised during the burial ceremony.

Furthermore, he condemned his father’s decision to introduce another family after their mother’s death.

According to him, his father should have done so while Liz Kerubo was still alive.

Shortly afterward, the second son addressed mourners. He acknowledged that every family faces challenges.

However, he urged everyone to allow him to mourn his mother peacefully.

He then mocked the second family, claiming they were neither as smart nor as loved as Liz Kerubo’s children.
